The Taj Mahal to scale 1:125
This model of the Taj Mahal is made to scale of about 1:125, the minimum size for rendering, even if very roughly, its general proportions and main features:
I have chosen to use here monochromatic versions of this and the following views, as the assorted colors of the pieces add too much distraction to the color images, and distance them from the nearly monochromatic original.
An oblique view from a distance allows for better appreciation of the proportions:
For the following view, I tried to mimic the framing of this picture (it is not from the original, but it is a faithful model), in order to somewhat verify the geometry. They match quite nicely:
